We believe that forming the faith of our youngest members is vital to the future of our families and our Church. SJA's Faith Formation classes are held September through April on Wednesday evenings from 6 - 7:15 pm at our Shakopee Area Catholic School - SACS. Registration will open soon and continues through August.
As always, we are looking for joyful and enthusiastic volunteers to pass along the Catholic faith. Please consider joining our incredible team of volunteers as a catechist, substitute, hall monitor, or childcare volunteer! All volunteers receive a tuition discount.
Middle School parents, please note that Confirmation is a two-year program beginning in 7th grade.
Paper registration forms are available in the Parish Office or you are welcome to contact the Faith Formation team for a copy to be emailed to you at faithformation@ssjacs.org.
FAITH FORMATION TUITION
Saints Joachim and Anne does not turn any family away for financial reasons. We do expect participating families to help support our Faith Formation program through tuition. Tuition payments cover less than 25% of the cost of our program. The balance of our cost is paid through the annual giving of all SJA parishioners. For this reason, we ask families who aren't parishioners to pay a supplemental fee for Faith Formation.
Before September 1, parishioner families pay $130 per student with a family cap of $300. Non-parishioner families pay $160 per student.
Please note that payment plans and financial assistance forms are available. We have online payment available through Vanco below or you are welcome to pay with a check or cash. Additionally, as always, tuition will increase by $25 on September 1. Register soon to avoid the increase.
